Fernie, British Columbia

Virginia is a CCFP(EM) trained rural physician, originally from Ontario, who now practices emergency medicine and maternity care in Fernie, BC. She started using ultrasound to help stratify at risk patients in the rural emergency room 14 years ago, back when it was still taboo for a non-radiologist to be doing so. She is delighted that POCUS is now accepted as the amazing life saving bedside management tool that it is, and to have been offered the opportunity to share the gospel of ultrasound through these amazing courses.
