Lethbridge, Alberta

Sharon Fehr works in Lethbridge, Alberta, as an emergency physician. She is a relatively recent convert to POCUS, having practiced many years without it, both rurally and in the inner city doing urgent care and emergency medicine. She thinks ultrasound is the greatest innovation in clinical medicine since the advent of plain-film radiography, and using it at the bedside has transformed her work. She studied POCUS at the Ultrasound Leadership Academy and has been fortunate to learn from some of the best teachers out there. She firmly believes that we, as front line clinicians, can learn how to use ultrasound safely and effectively, that it can greatly enhance our clinical practice, and that with common sense and mentorship, we can build a strong, smart POCUS community.
